The purpose of this course is to understand the practical guidelines for building an effective team. A functional and cohesive team can help you achieve higher productivity levels, while allowing for a culture that facilitates growth and development of all the project members. Teamwork is a common practice in the workplace, and Enactus’ social ENT projects give students the opportunity to tackle complex challenges and implement real-world solutions.  While building an effective team is not the easiest task, it is instrumental to your project success, and definitely worthwhile.

Instructor’s Foreword

Dear Reader,

My name is Alif and I am a student specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. My most valuable contribution towards the growth of entrepreneurial activity within the Toronto community has been my role as the VP of Business Development of Ryerson Entrepreneur Institute. I have trained and managed a team of 12 volunteer students to successfully raise over $56,000 from sponsorship, in-kind donations and grants. Within this course, I have gathered a set of theoretical and practical content from my experience and studies that can be applicable within your projects or startups.
